Not only are women shattering glass ceilings every day, but more and more of them are pursuing employment in male-dominated fields. To inspire women to break into the trades that Pennco Tech can prepare them for, we’ve created our Girl Power initiative. What Is Girl Power at Pennco Tech?
Girl Power was founded as Pennco Tech’s response to the fact that more women are now entering traditionally male-dominated trades than ever. From the automotive industry to the medical field, women are rising through the ranks and unleashing their true potential, especially in industries that have been slow to see this shift.
With this top of mind, Girl Power at Pennco Tech aims to foster the growth of women in the trades by:
Making more girls and women aware of the career potential by completing one of our trade school programs, which include:
• Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration
• Plumbing & Heating Technology
• Welding
• Combining classroom, laboratory, and hands-on training with highly qualified and experienced instructors to equip women with the skills, tools, and knowledge to thrive in the trades
• Connect qualified women with career opportunities through our robust Career Services network
• Celebrating the success of our students, graduates, and alumni
Why Women are Choosing Our Trade School
