Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection and Emissions Inspection Classes

Pennco Tech is proud to offer the following Official PennDOT Certification Classes. These classes are open to automotive professionals with field experience. Once you submit your information, a confirmation email will be sent to you. Course participants must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid photo driver’s license. On the first evening, please arrive at the Pennco Tech Business Office by 5:30 pm.

Safety Inspection Certification

Pennco Tech offers automotive professions the opportunity to take this 12-Hour course consisting of three evening classes from 6 – 10 pm, plus an additional 1-hour tactile test. You should have an understanding of basic auto mechanics, including brakes and alignment, to succeed in this program. Upon successfully completing the tests in this course, PennDOT will issue a Safety Inspection License. Cost: $175 includes book.

Emissions Certification Training

Pennco Tech offers this PennDOT approved 8-hour course to technicians who are seeking to obtain their Emissions Inspection License in Pennsylvania. The cost for this course is $150. Additional materials will need to be purchased from PennDOT for a cost of $39.99

*Safety and emissions inspection classes are not accredited by the ACCSC

OSHA Courses for Businesses

Tools And Safety Gear
The OSHA 10 & 30 courses are also offered to non-active students. Many employers take advantage of these programs for their employees and supervisors. To be eligible for the completion of the program, and to receive a course certificate, you must be present for both sessions in their entirety.
